Bold, Expectant Prayer for the Mighty Movement of the Father in the Valley

• God is looking for men and women who will stand in the gap before Him for the spiritually needy within our land!  The Word of the Lord came to the prophet Ezekiel and the Lord said, "I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."  Will you be that man and that woman?

• Pray for Amani and Tiawana Bullock, who began their ministry here in the Grand Valley on September 4, 2008.  You need to meet this great couple and their very special daughters, Dariah and Tiana.  Amani and his family moved to the Grand Valley to begin an African-American Baptist Church.  Amani is very gifted and will impact the growing Multi-cultural community in Grand Junction for our Lord and His Kingdom.  Pray for them to build relationships within their culture here in Grand Junction.  Pray for the development of outreach events and building the Father's strategy for penetrating lostness within their culture.  Pray for Familyroom Fellowship and the 25 new converts bapitzed in the first 7 months of 2010. Pray for the discipleship of these new believers.  Pray for the Wednesday evening Bible teaching of these new Christians.  We praise the Father for this great family with a passion for our Lord!  Ask our Awesome God to continue His work in the hearts of these new believers and to cause their development into leaders and fully maturing followers in His new church!  Ask Him to continue to draw spiritual needy folks to His church plant!

• Pray for these seven church planting needs in the Grand Valley:
  
  > A God called Anglo family to partner with GVBA churches, other Colorado Baptists, and other Kingdom partners to begin a church among families living in the Colonial Heights Sub-division and neighboring sub-divisions in Grand Junction.  "Heavenly Fahter, to bring glory to You and advance Your Kingdom, call a specific family of Your choosing to begin this new work among the spiritually needy living in these neighborhoods."
  > A God called Hispanic pastor willing to work bi-vocationally and sacrificially in Grand Junction to begin a Hispanic Baptist Church to reach the thousands of spiritually needy Spanish residents living in Grand Junction.  "Father, for your glory, call a godly family to meet this need."
  > A God called Anglo church planter family, who love the outdoors and outdoors activities, to begin a new church in two growing areas north of New Castle (Castle Valley and Lakoda).   "Lord, please hear the request of RiverChurches and others who feel this need for a new church in Castle Valley and Lakoda."
  > A God called Hispanic family willing to work bi-vocationally and sacrifically in Rifle to begin a Hispanic Baptist Church to reach the growing Spanish speaking population in this growing city.  "Lord, for your honor and glory we stand in the gap for the spiritually needy Spanish speakers in New Castle."
  > A God called Anglo family to begin a new church in the Paradise Hills area of Grand Junction to reach the people who reside in this large area of Grand Junction north of I-70.  "Lord, we stand in the gap for the spiritual needs of those who live in this section of our fast growing city." 
  > A God called Chinese family to move to Grand Junction and begin working in one of the local Chinese restaurants to intentionally build relationships for God's glory, begin a Bible study and eventually a Chinese Baptist Church. "God, You love Your Chinese creation all over the world, and You are aware of those living in Grand Junction and Montrose without knowledge of your love.  Please send the Chinese family of Your choosing to begin this work and glorify Your name among this population." 
  > A God called Anglo family move to Grand Junction to begin a new work in the sub divisions surrounding Colonial Heights where over 2600 residents need a Bible believing, teaching and ministering church in their midst.  " Father, You know the spiritual needs of these 2600 residents of North Grand Junction.  Please call the right church planter family to Grand Junction to meet lead Grand Valley Baptists to meet these needs!"

• Pray for Colton Walter as God has called Colton to use his incredible talent as a horse trainer to begin cowboy churches in the Grand Valley. Pray for the Round Pen Cowboy Church in Fruita.  Pray to the Father for an MSC Church Strengthener Family who are musically talented to come to Fruita to work alongside the Walters in His church plant.  Ask the Father to bring Colton's great knowledge of working with horses in sync with what God wants to teach him about planting cowboy churches!  Thank you Father for answering our three years of prayers for a man like Colton with the unique gifting You have given him!!  BLESS the founding of a cowboy church for your glory!!

• Pray for Mike and Kellie Banks, who recently moved to Fruita as God's answer to our prayers over the last 3 years for the right church planter family to begin a new work there.  Mike, Kellie, Nick and Stephen arrived in Fruita the 24th of September 2010.  The Banks family placed their belongings in a garage and immediately drove to Montrose to participate in Basic Training for Church Planters.  Pray for their adjustment to a new area and a new job!  Pray for Nick and Stephen as they make friends in new schools.  Ask the Father to encourage this family and give them His vision for reaching Fruita for Jesus!  Ask Him to give them His plan for this church plant!  Ask God for the right job for Kellie!  Praise the Lord for a Partnering Church, Monument Baptist Church, who faithfully gave money for three years over and above their regular monthly gifts to the GVBA and the Cooperative Program for worldwide missions in order to follow God and begin a new work in Fruita!  Praise God for an association, the GVBA, who supports church planting!  Praise God for additional prayer and financial partners known by the Banks' who God brought into this partnership!  PTL!

• Pray for genuine, God breathed renewal (II Chronicles 7:14) for some of our churches that are plateaued or declining!  A God breathed movement of the Spirit of God is His solution for His churches that are in decline.  Pray for these churches to turn to the Father and in humility, truly and urgently seek His face and consequently receive his blessing!
